We have for sale a excellent example of Appunti di Storia written by Carlo Mariani with a preface by Enzo Ferrari. This is an original printing of this rare book, a historical overview of early Scuderia Ferrari activity. The text includes the origins of the team at Alfa Romeo followed by pre- and post-war racing activity from the early 20s through 1956. Densely illustrated with period b/w photographs, including races and portraits of important figures such as Ferrari, Jano, Ascari, Nuvolari etc.
Published by Shell Italy in 1957. Italian text. 192 pages, cloth-bound hardcover with embossed/printed front and back cover graphics. 24.5 cm x 17 cm.
